Women's International Center Budget Assistance Program
Please contact WIC CFO Veronica Da Metz at veronicadametz@gmail.com or call 858-381-7599 to schedule a complimentary BudgetAssistance coaching session. Ms. Da Metz can teach families how to manage a budget, gather income expenses, and list a structured date for payments. She can even negotiate with credit holders to lower monthly payments. As this WIC program grows, our organization will be asking other qualified financial professionals if they would like to do pro-bono Budget Assistance work with our team. If they agree, WIC can issue these mentors tax write of certificates for their assistance, at a rate of $100/hour.
Coming soon: FREE Summer Martial Arts Classes for Women
A martial arts instructor will teach martial arts self defense classes to women pro-bono in the summer once a month in July, August, and September, at a Dojo, or at the beach or Mission Bay, with a view of the water. The instructor will receive a tax write off certificate for $200/hour for their time. WIC is seeking a sponsor for advertising costs and refreshments, approx. $300 total. This program also helps the instructor advertise their skills to local San Diegans that would like to take future classes. A discount may be provided if the instructor joins WIC’s membership.
