Donna Crean


Donna Crean is a highly successful entrepreneur, business owner, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, as well as a generous philanthropist. She has a special place in her heart for abused and neglected children and provides leadership and funding in these critical areas. Donna and John Crean established the Crean Foundation, a vehicle through which they make many charitable and educational contributions. Donna manages the Foundation, among much other business and charitable endeavors.

In addition to all the charitable organizations she supports, Donna diligently aims at helping children. Currently, she is actively involved in (CCAP) Coalition for Children, Adolescents and Parents and (JCP) Juvenile Connection Program, which is a delinquency prevention program. In 1995, Donna founded the Orange County Chapter of the Children's Bureau, an organization providing counseling and protection of abused and neglected children.

Donna has received many awards and honors for her charities, philanthropies and commitment to children.

Donna and John Crean founded and developed a highly successful company manufacturing recreational vehicles, which John heads today. Though Donna is no longer actively involved in the hands-on operation of the business, she maintains knowledge of the industry and product that John claims makes her most important advisor on business matters. Donna has the responsibility of maintaining records and managing the couple's investments and real estate.

They have four grown children, who, to date, have produced 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Together enjoyed the hobbies of motor racing, sportfishing, travel camping. They have also been involved in church, community and charitable activities. They both enjoy the theater and are movie bluffs.

The Creans live in Newport Beach, California. They travel extensively, to visit the many plants the company operates, and for pleasure. Donna is a bridge player, hates stick-shift cars, and loves soap operas.

Women's International Center proudly presents the 1999 Living Legacy Award to a remarkable woman who has so much care, compassion and charity for children and all people.
